Congo Jug
130. A very rare pottery jug made in the Congo c1900 by the Yombe people. This jug appears to be heavily influenced by European ‘Toby” jugs. Toby jugs were first conceived in the 18th century in Staffordshire England. There is a crack to the side of the face.
