Shona Staff

An exceptional staff one of a handful known (there is a comparative example in the collections of the Pitt Rivers) This staff would have been a prestige item and owned by a chief or important individual. The staff is decorated profusely in hand made copper studs and intricately woven brass wire swirls. 19th century.
