190. A lost masterpiece from the Massim carver Mutuaga Oitau. Probably the figurative element of a lime spatula.

Ive had the privilege of handling several objects carved by Mutuaga and this one is by far the most charming. It has an overall ‘softness’ that along with a warm patina and the traces of white lime, bring this little gem to life.
